About

I’m Zsombor.Mostly street,a bit of everything.

Ever since I was little, I was fascinated by how strong my visual imagination was. I could always picture the perfect way a moment could be captured and frozen in time. That’s what eventually got me into photography.

I’m 20 and based in Budapest. I shoot mostly on the street, but I consider myself cross-niche: I genuinely enjoy shooting everything.

Photography asks you to do things you normally wouldn’t. On the street I often stand still for a long time, looking like I’m lost. Or I invade a stranger’s privacy a bit to get the shot. Not to mention the poses I end up in to get a good angle.

How a frame gets made

  1. 01 · ShootSony α6400, a 17–70mm f/2.8, and my iPhone. One zoom that covers the street, the crowd and the portrait. Light enough to carry every day.
  2. 02 · EditLightroom. Flatten first, rebuild after.Pull the highlights down, lift the shadows, then bring the contrast back with curves and masks, so the light does the talking.
  3. 03 · KeepA roll is what survives.Out of 37 frames from one night, 11 made the cut. The rest stay on the contact sheet.
“I’m not a photographer who’s figured it all out. I’m somewhere in the middle of figuring it out, and I think that’s where interesting work happens.”

Some days the camera stays home. Some days I come back with nothing. Or everything. I just shoot what I like and don’t shoot what I don’t.
